There is no risk involved in becoming a registered user and
your privacy is well protected on our secure server. To place a bid or sell and item on
our auction we require that you are a registered user. The reason for this requirement is
to assure to some degree the sincerity of those participating on the site. Plus you

How
do I add an auction?
To submit an item for auction, first you must be a Registered User. Then you need to go to the
BidWerX.com Account Management & Payment Center
to open a billing account. To add an item, simply visit Seller
Services . Enter your User Id and Password and select "Add an
auction". The necessary forms will be provided for you completely on-line. And please
don't forget to read the BidWerX.com User Agreement!

What is an "Escrow
Service"?
Once an auction is complete, both the buyer (winning bid)
and the seller will be notified by e-mail of the final auction status. Included in each
notification e-mail is the other parties e-mail address. It Will be up to the buyer and
seller to arrange payment and shipment for the item. BidWerX.com is not involved in the
transaction, but we always desire the best transaction possible for our members.
In the interest of your own security, you might want to
consider using an escrow service. Escrow Services, which function as an
objective third party, protect the buyer and the seller by collecting the money owed from
the buyer and witholding it from the seller until the item has been received.
Traditionally, the cost of using an Escrow Service
is usually borne by the buyer. To avoid potential misunderstandings, we recommend that any
questions as to whether an Escrow Service will be used and/or who will
pay be answered prior to bidding on an item, the same as with any other important terms
and/or conditions of the sale.

What happens when my auction closes?
When an auction closes, the seller is notified via e-mail
explaining if the item(s) sold or not. Bidder(s) are also notified as to whether they won
or lost your auction. Then appropriate commissions
will be assessed to the sellers account, in addition to Bold Type,Reserve/Buyback, Featured Item or Auction Shop Fees, if
applicable. Please see Services and Fees
or select these links for more detailed information. See Billing
for specifics concerning invoicing and payments.
How can I see the
bids that have been placed on my auction?
To check the status of your auction, simply visit Seller Services. Enter your User Id and Password, select
"Bidding History" and enter the lot number you wish to view a history of. This
can be useful if the winning bidder is unable or unwilling to purchase your item by
allowing you to see other bidders interested in purchasing your item
Can I
cancel my auction?
Once an auction has been activated and has recieved at
least one bid, it cannot be canceled. You will need to close the auction early, an option
available at BidWerX.com Seller Services. You
can then decide if you wish to sell the item to the highest bidder. Keep in mind if
there were any bids on the auction before closing it early, the item is considered sold
and the appropriate commissions are due.

Am
I liable for any bids I make?
We cannot force you to pay for an item you bid successfully
on, but several points are worth mentioning:
- A bid is considered a binding contract in most states
and sellers could take appropriate legal action if necessary.
- Enough information is collected from each bid you make
that you could be physically located.
- Continued abuse of the system will result in forfeiture of
the right to use this site.
Do
I have to sell my item(s)?
We cannot force you to sell an item that was successfully
bid for, but a couple of points are worth mentioning:
- The auction is considered sold whether you actually
sell it to the successful bidder(s) or not and appropriate commissions are due.
- Continued abuse of the system will result in
forfeiture of the right to use this site.
- In other words, play fair!

How do I pay the
listing/insertion fees or commissions due?
You will receive ane-mail invoice monthly with a statement
of your account. You may make payments online using a credit card at our Account Maintenance & Payment Center, or mail
a check or money order to our mailing address. See Billing
for more information.
Are
international orders welcome?
Since BidWerX.com is merely the listing source for all
sellers and does not physically hold the merchandise, this is completely up to the seller.
When you view an item up for auction, the sellers e-mail address is displayed. To find out
more details, such as international orders, simply send an e-mail to the seller before you
make a bid.
How do I know if I have won an auction?
Winning bidders are notified via their registered e-mail
address. If you believe you are one of the successful bidders, but do not receive
notification or simply wish to view the results of a closed auction, you may view it from Buyer Services.

How are auction winners determined?
Bid Precedence...
Bid precedence is determined according to amount of bid,
quantity bid on, and time and date of the bid. If all of these criteria are the same, then
the numerical order of the bids is used. This is useful in situations where two (or more
for multiple item auctions) bidders placed the same bid for the same item. In these cases,
bid precedence is determined in the following order :
1. Amount of bid.
2. Quantity bid on.
3. Date of bid.
4. Time of bid.
5. Bid number.
For example:
Bidder 1 places a $5.00 bid for 1 item for Lot #1 on Jan.
1, 1999 at 5:00:00 PM
Bidder 2 places a $5.00 bid for 1 item for Lot #1 on Jan. 1, 1999 at 5:00:01 PM
On this example, Bidder 1 wins the bid by 1 second.
